This is the Paoli Peaks Snow Report for Monday, January 5, 2009. The ski and snowboard hill opens at10 am today with a possible staggered opening. We will be open until 9:30 pm. The hill will be 100 percent open and we are reporting a base of 18 – 36 inches with a machine groomed surface. The forecast for today is for partly sunny skies with a high in the mid 30’s.  The Quad, the Triple, the Double, C-Tec 1, and the 300 foot carpet will be in operation as needed.  The Bonk area will be a go, but the 5 Star Terrain Park is still under construction awaiting more snowmaking for its completion. The extended forecast looks like we will have snowmaking starting Wednesday night. The snow pros will be ready and waiting to fire the guns at Paoli Peaks for some Paoli Powder. The Arctic Blast Tube Park will reopen on Friday at 4 pm. Don’t forget to check out all of the good deals in the Ski Pro Shop for your skiing and snowboarding needs. Winter at Paoli Peaks – the coolest season of the year!
