Thinking Pink at Paoli Peaks

On Sunday, February 12th, Paoli Peaks is hosting the annual Think Pink Event. Each year, Paoli Peaks does it's part to help raise money for a local foundation, the Orange County Good Samaritans.  The Good Samaritans help local families with catastrophic illnesses.  Think Pink helps raise money specifically for patients with breast cancer in Orange County. Paoli Peaks is a proud supporter of the Good Samaritans!

 

Online Raffle - ENTER TO WIN A 2012/2013 SEASON PASS!

February 4th - February 11th, you will have the chance to win a 2012/2013 Unlimited Season pass by donating $5.00 to the Good Samaritans.  Click here to DONATE now!  Below are the details for the raffle:

  • Each time you donate $5 to the Good Samaritan Foundation, you receive one (1) entry into a Paoli Peaks raffle to win a 2012/2013 Unlimited Season Pass. BONUS! Pass will also be valid for the remaining part of the 11/12 Season. How many entries will you have?
  • All donations will go to the Orange County Good Samaritan Foundation to directly benefit local breast cancer patients.
  • THE FINE PRINT - One (1) $5.00 entry = One (1) Raffle Entry. Prize is a 2012/2013 Unlimited Season Pass valid for remaining 11/12 Season and all of 12/13 Season. Prize does not include seasonal rental. Prize must be redeemed in person at the front office. There is only one (1) winner. Entries are unlimited. MUST be 18 years or old to enter into raffle. Season Pass is non-refundable and has no cash value. Raffle will end on Saturday, February 11th at 11:59 pm EST. Winner will be announced on Sunday, February 12th at 3pm EST at Paoli Peaks. Winner does not have to be present to win. Winner will be notified soon after announcement. Winner has the option to put season pass in the name of another person (ages 7+) instead of their own.
  • All donations are 100% dedcutable. Keep your recepit and turn in to Paoli Peaks or Good Samaritans to receive letter for deduction.

 

On Sunday, Paoli Peaks has a few events planned to help raise money:

  • 9am-3pm - Silent Auction - Paoli Peaks employees have been working hard to put together a few baskets and packages. Themes are great and definitely worth coming to check out.
  • 2pm -  Pink Thoughts and Memories Run $1 - Paoli Peaks Snow Sports will be doing a memorial run displaying ribbons with names of those who fought breast cancer. Add a loved one's name to a ribbon for $1.
  • 3pm - Silent Auction Awards and announcement of online Raffle Winner

I have been wanting to start a foundation like this in my community. Can anyone give me a contact number or a website so I can get some information on how it is set up and how your foundation works. Our community desperately needs a foundation to give financial support to the families that are faced with this diagnosis. I would appreciate any information possible.

Paoli Peaks is proud to support a charity like the Orange County Good Samaritans.  They help more families than those diagnosed with breast cancer.  For Think Pink, the money we raise goes to Breast Cancer patients only, but there are other events that we host where that money goes to families that have been diagnosed facing catastrophic illnesses.
