Park Build Feb 16-17

2.16.12 Post:

Well Elia has arrived, full of ideas. After talking with and learning his plans, Empire Park will be closed all day today (Thursday) and probably most of tomorrow (Friday).  Our goal is to have the park operational by evening time on Friday, but that all depends on how much we can get done over these next 48 hours. I know you are anxious to have the park open, especially with the promise of new features, but please be patient.  We will get Empire open as soon as we possibly can!

2.15.12 Post:

We will have Empire Park closed for most of the day on Thursday Feb. 16th and possibly Friday Feb. 17 to build more features and fine tune the ones that we have currently. It will be exciting to see what we come up with as we now have the snow level to get more features available to you. Peak Resorts has created a Freestyle Terrain Program where someone from corporate comes in to build the park for us. This person will be here tomorrow and is planning on spending Friday here as well, so with two days of building we should be able to come up with some very nice features and the hit for the Big Air. Be sure to keep checking the website for updates as we work in the park. I will let you know what we put in and when it will be open.
